Engineering Technician/Inspector (CLOSED)

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology, Construction Management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in engineering inspection or a related technical role.
  • Familiarity with engineering software and tools, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and industry standards.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, plans, and specifications.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for report writing and team collaboration.
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., NICET, AWS, or similar) are advantageous.
  • Ability to utilize precision measuring instruments, such as calipers, micrometers, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine), to verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Experience level: 3-5 years
  • Education: High School Diploma required

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Inspects incoming commodities and sub-assemblies for conformance to applicable drawings and specifications
  • Perform detailed inspections and testing of incoming materials and components using established procedures and tools
  • Accurately document inspection results and maintain detailed records of inspections, test results, and non-conformances
  • Prepare and present inspection reports, ensuring all data is entered into the quality management system (QMS)
  • Ensure all incoming materials and components comply with company quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Stay updated on industry standards and regulations related to medical devices and quality assurance
  • Perform field and laboratory testing of materials and systems as required.
  • Document findings and maintain accurate inspection reports.
  • Support the design and planning phases of engineering projects with technical input.
  • Monitor project progress and provide feedback to ensure timelines and budgets are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues encountered during inspections or installations.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols on all sites and in all processes.
